Olive oil donut

Do you want to make a fantastic dessert perfect for any time of day? From breakfast to snacks, the olive oil donut is super easy to make with just a few tasty ingredients that you can already find in your pantry.

300 gr of flour
3 medium eggs
150 gr of brown sugar
1 sachet of yeast
1/2 glass of Basso olive oil
1 glass of sparkling water
Flavors to taste

In a bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until it looks frothy and puffy. Sift the flour and slowly mix it into the previously whipped mixture. Add the baking powder and, if you like, some vanillin. When the mixture begins to be too hard, add the liquid ingredients such as the Basso Olive Oil and sparkling water that will help the dough to rise better and give lightness to the doughnut. Once this mixture is prepared, you can have fun deciding the flavor that will characterize the recipe: you can add bitter cocoa (reducing flour), grated lemon or even orange juice instead of water. Spices are good too for this preparation, such as cinnamon or ginger. Once you have decided the aroma of the donut oil, bake it using a 25 cm diameter mold at 180° in a preheated oven for 40 minutes, lowering the temperature to 170°C for the last 10 minutes (always check the cooking level with a toothpick). When the doughnut is cold, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
